Training this week.... 8th March

Monday - RUN, ATHelite EK, 6.15pm

Tuesday - SWIM, Tollcross, 7.00am

Wednesday - SWIM, Hamilton College 5-7pm

Thursday - RUN, ATHelite, EK, 6.15pm

Friday - SWIM, Tollcross 7.00am

Saturday - BIKE

Sunday - Long steady run. The usual Sunday run will start at 9am, meeting point at the top of Hurlawcrook Road just before the turn off for Langlands golf course.

no, bike not snuggly packed as it is currently lying in pool of red liquid when I ripped of my thumb open dismantling some of it,
not happy :-(
very stupid and careless, think will just go to the beach for week

you can sit on the beach with Dawn then as she is already saying she'll not manage the cycling!!

we're not even there yet and we're 2 down!

make that 3 - my friend broke 4 ribs at the weekend racing at Moscow!

my wee plaster on my thumb is nothing but a reminder that I was extremely stupid

Thursday assemble bike
Friday pass bike in hall - head to beach. Eat Chips, Drink Beer - holidays!
saturday look at bike again - head to beach
sunday - consider riding bike. Well I thought about it. Head to beach.
Monday - dust off bike. Pedal to local ice cream shop - chill out and lie beside beach.
tuesday - bypass bike, well i was out yesterday?, take book - head to beach.
wednesday - dismantle bike for airline flight home. Not before visiting the beach thou.
thursday - say goodbye to beach and new beach friends.

now doesnt that sound like a much better training schedule?

i have a chain shaped cut on my right thumb as well - pedals are a pest ! packed and unpacked for third time this evening . now wish i had bought a hard case . i think that san mig and chips are excellent recovery tactics with ice cream to cool the aches !

i am taking a pedal spanner a 5nm torque wrench allen key type thing and some tubes . anyone taking a track pump ? cant decide if to take a spare tyre (no comments here please)I am assembling a first aid kit as well .
