Time to get going again after the festive indulgences!! And to get you started here's the first full weekend training schedule for 2010......
Saturday 9th – Bike - it’s the first turbo session of 2010 and NO, Genevieve is not likely to ease us in gently with an easy session, so you better have been keeping that turbo trainer dust free over the holidays and been practising!! As a group session it's great fun, motivating and also burns some serious calories! It is upstairs in the Studio in the Hamilton Shop at 9.30am. Session will last approx 1hr - 1hr 15. Bring a turbo/rollers, fluids & a towel for mopping your sweaty brows. Oh, and a bike.
Sunday 10th – Run - This will be not the first but the SECOND Sunday run of 2010 as there were some hardy, albeit mad, folks out last Sunday and by all accounts they had great fun - not sure how much running took place though in the foot deep snow! Forecast at the moment is for a balmy zero degrees so weather & roads permitting the Sunday run will start off from the rear entrance to Whitelees Wind Farm at the top of Ardochrig Road at 9am. Make sure you wrap up warm with lots of layers……everyone is welcome and it's a great time to join in as the distance will not be too long and will build up gradually as the weeks progress (and the snow finally disappears!).

shall we meet somewhere and take only a couple of cars up ?
2 hour run...a bit longer than planned but what can you do when the snow is knee deep.
How about doing the OUT & BACK run that we all seemed to agree on before heading off piste?

FYI tollcross pool is shut on friday sat sun for an event so friday AM swim will need to be hamilton
