St Christophers 10 mile TT

Short report for the St Christophers 10 mile TT last night. 21 riders made it out last night for the Tues night TT and for once it was quite a warm evening. A gentle breeze, coming from a south westerly direction made sure that you had to work for your time, for the first couple of miles, the Strathaven Rd and Greenhills Rd but it was definitely an easier night. That said, there was just the one new PB's from ATHelite members. Only myself and Mandy Cullie (she is a member isn't she?) and Gareth made it out this week. I came in with a time of 26:45, slightly slower than last week but I def hadn't recovered from my sunday ride. A good example of what happens when you don't eat the right food and stretch enough after long miles in the saddle. Mandy came home in a time of 32:55. Gareth improved on his first appearance time of 29.08. Winner again was Mark Ratter in a time of 24:18. I'm never getting anywhere near that time! Good news though, a stretch of the Strathaven Road has been resurfaced and is a lot more enjoyable to ride at speed!
