Swim - after the first swim being so much 'FUN' we have already decided to incorporate another day of training together.
Our swim days are now Tuesday and Friday morning. Meet in the pool 7.30am - 8.15am

Bike - next Saturday 17th, steady ride from 30mins easy to 2hrs+ depending on what you want!

2 lessons learned yesterday
1, read the blog properly and turn up to the correct shop
2, if you are out on a new bike take some tools with you
having said that is was great fun riding in the wind (the highlight was the EK road from burnside to the kingsgate into the wind !)still 500m of climbing and 1600 cals burned

2 when out on a new bike have some tools and the correct tubes ( cable stretch left me on the granny ring for 20k)
having said that it was good training - 500m climbing 1600 cals burned - the highlight being the slow ascent of the EK road from burnside to the kingsgate into the wind .
Can't believe you even turned up in those driving rain & winds you nutter.
Admirable effort though - fingers crossed for better conditions next weekend.
